Job Description Position overview The role is within a software development team producing a global platform for accounts production. The business analysis function works as a liaison between application developers and content developers to determine requirements for the application and specify solutions. The development team adopts an agile approach and therefore constant communication with project stakeholders and developers is paramount. Role and responsibilities Support content teams Recommend best practice regarding development of localised content using the global platform. Liaise with content teams in various global locations to assist with understanding of the software capabilities, identification of defects and solutions. Support development team Communicate with developers to assist with understanding the requirements for a new feature or defect solution. Testing new features and solutions. Feedback further requirements and defects. Requirements analysis Work with the global asset manager and other business analysts to analyse requests from content teams and end users. Design and propose software changes to address these requests. Prioritise work items Assist in the prioritisation and scoping of work items for iterative development planning process. Support QA team Guide QA team in developing automated test functions to maximise test coverage of key software functions. Assist in identifying and clarifying issues with the software following automated test detection.
