We have been retained by our client, a well-established, professionally managed Corporate Trustee Company to identify a Chief Operating Officer - Capital Markets to be based in Mumbai. The trust company acts as a custodian for trusts, estates, custodial arrangements, asset management, stock transfer, beneficial ownership registration and other related arrangements. The company also offers corporate formation and market entry services, due diligence, enforcement and monitoring services to both domestic and foreign entities including banks, financial institutions, corporates, funds, governments, insurance companies, non-profit organizations and high net worth individuals. Job Purpose : - To drive business and increase revenue, by identifying and developing new business opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company. - To focus on developing, implementing and driving strategies to achieve company's business goals. Key Responsibilities : - To generate sustainable revenues while ensuring optimum balance between client needs and organizational objectives. - Responsible for profit by maximizing revenue generation. - Identify new avenues for accelerating business growth. Focus on potential customers for generating higher revenue. - Design and implement specific local business plans in line with the group strategy and various divisions including P& L responsibility - Develops and manages the divisional budget in order to ensure optimal resource utilization - To manage relationship across all industry sectors in Corporates, Banks, Financial Institutions and Public Sector and Government. - Strategize & Implement new processes for managing better customer relationships. - Establish strategic alliances, tie-ups with financially strong and reliable partners to develop network and increase reach & market penetration across geography. - To add value to the client and stay ahead of the competition by structuring and implementing innovative deals. - To collect market intelligence, analyze trends and develop and implement action plans. - To develop framework for new products & processes. - To ensure full compliance with the existing policies of the government and the organization. Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams. - To handle all Business Development related escalations. - To support, guide team members on all business development related activities as required, to handle all client related escalations.
