Responsibilities:
2-4 years experience. Has previous experience as an accountant. Examines, analyzes, and interprets accounting records to prepare statements and/or advise management. May require an advanced degree. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with spreadsheets and GAAP. Tasks may include: Preparation of journal entries, Account Reconciliations, Analysis, Research, Other Miscellaneous quarter-end accounting functions. Weekends may be required. Skills: Accounting degree preferred with Oracle application experience. The candidate i am looking at should be a commerce graduate with 3 to 4 years of core accounting experience (inter qualification would be added advantage) Should be able to independently draft the financial statements (P&L; and Balance sheet) and related schedules . would be supporting the Mergers & Acquisition team in completing the audit related deliverable and other adhoc requests. Should have decent oral and written communication skills as they may be required to interact with teams outside India.
