The company: Our Client is global communications company, they are now looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join the team for a 9 month contract. This broad and progressive position will not only be responsible for supporting the UK functions but the group as a whole. Assisting the group FD, the successful candidate will oversee the day to day activities of the UK finance team and continually add commercial and strategic value across the business. The job: Ownership of P&Ls for multiple UK and European entities, ensuring accuracy of reporting and meaningful variance analysis and commentary Management and development of the finance team Balance sheet reconciliations Manage month end processes Preparation of monthly management reporting adhering to month end deadlines Month-end close processes providing appropriate level review, analyses and reconciliation Communication of financial performance to division leads Managing relationships with internal stakeholders Cashflow forecasting Revenue reporting and recognition Tax and VAT reporting. Identifying potential process efficiencies & contribute towards a high standard, continuous improvement culture Ensure effective reporting to senior management Providing analysis to support results and business decisions Preparation of the monthly management accounts for group functions Preparation, and review of statutory group accounting, audit, and tax Producing of balances, monthly closings, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting Ad-hoc analysis as requires The person: ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) accredited with significant PQE Demonstrable experience as a Financial Controller/Manager in an international large organisation Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy Experience in building relationships and communicating with senior leaders and executives Strong knowledge of Maconomy The benefits: Excellent salary, benefits include healthcare, gym, pension Brewster Partners Recruitment Group focuses on the recruitment of talent in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
