Job Description: IBOR Transition: New Products and MI Financial Analyst - ContractCapco are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to assist us on what will initially be a 6-month long contract assignment.Key
responsibilities:
Production and analysis to support the of Quantitative Impact AssessmentsProactively engage in discussions with the business & programme on customer behaviours, legal nuances & Product features, with the objective of identifying the relevant insights to inform the financial modelling and finance operatingContributing to the commercial impacts assessment of IBOR changes and the corresponding business response enabling communication to interested parties such as regulators (PRA/ECB/HKMA/US), Audit Committee and the Board.Proactively assessing the need for updates to the Global/Regional Monthly Forecasting or risks/opportunitiesSupport the production/input of any New Product Due Diligence (NPDD)Ensuring the finance processes and handovers between functions, such as Risk and Operational Accounting, are updated for IBOR changes and impactsEnsure all Finance colleagues across Global Banking Finance are up to date on the technical and commercial training available, maintaining the best in class service to our stakeholdersAppropriately engaging and communicating with business stakeholders and the Global Banking CFO for the duration of the project and launch.Key skills:Have either an internationally recognised accountancy or finance qualification or MBA5 years relevant work experienceStrong financial services knowledgeExcellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).Commercially minded; customer focusedProven track record of successful business partneringBe able to show a proactive 'change' mentalityStrong IT skills, especially Excel/Qliksense/Database.Time management - ensure that all deadlines are met on time without sacrificing quality of informationAbility to work and thrive in a fast changing, results driven environmentTeam player due to inherent dependency upon other areas of FinanceAbility to highlight problems but more importantly offer solutions and drive through their execution in a collective environment.
