Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Client Manager to join their established firm of Chartered Accountants in Leicester The role entails: All aspects of running a client portfolio of owner managed businesses, principally limited companies Planning work loads and meeting deadlines Supervising and reviewing the work of junior accountants A successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences: A detailed knowledge of corporate and personal tax within an SME environment would be essential Good people skills and someone with a friendly and helpful approach to clients Be a self starter with plenty of initiative Minimum of 3 years recent practice experience within a firm of accountants Minimum of 3 years working as a senior accountant Ideally ICAEW or ACCA qualified, although exceptional AAT, PQ and QBE would be considered In-depth working knowledge of accountancy software packages such as Iris, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero is essential Salary is between £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience This role would ideally be full time but our client will consider part- time candidates as well
