Williams Munroe, Accountancy Practice specialists are excited to assist a Top 20 Practice in their search for a Cloud Accounting Bookkeeper, to join their offices in Birmingham. Our client is a growing national Accountancy Practice specialising in providing services to owner managed business across the UK and due to growth of the business along with a recent office move in Birmingham, they are now looking for an additional Bookkeeper to join their team. What exactly does this role involve? Sales, purchases and nominal ledger management Reconciliation of bank statements and credit card statements Management of petty cash and expenses Cross-company transactions Wages transactions and reconciliation of salaries and wages control accounts Filing and preparing VAT returns, along with VAT reconciliation So what skills do you need to do this job? Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and client expectations Strong commercial awareness Previous experience of working within Accountancy Practice, using Sage & Xero (ideally 2-3 years) What do you get?
