McCarthy Adams recruitment are currently recruiting a Financial Controller / Finance Manager for a highly profitable manufacturing and serviced based company in South Lincolnshire. The business has a strong brand within their market, exceptional products and ambitions to surpass their short / medium term growth plans. They require an experienced Financial Controller / Finance Manager who is used to operating with masses of autonomy, who's used to working within a dynamic, fast paced environment within a good sized SME business. As the Financial Controller for this business you will take responsibility for:
• Working as part of the senior management team, leading on all monthly, quarterly and year end statutory reporting processes
• Delivery of all budgeting and forecasting processes
• Liaise regularly with non-finance executive stakeholders to deliver financial recommendations and efficiencies, along with getting out into the business to build these relationships
• Deliver key MI and the management reporting pack, working closely with the Finance Director to provide good quality MI
• Identify and deliver internal efficiencies and other cost saving / commercial strategies
• Drive improvements and cost savings
• Manage all organisational stock queries and analysis
• Analyse key financial information and make commercial recommendations based on existing processes
• Delivery of improved working processes across the finance division
• Provide commercial analysis and decision making relating to upcoming acquisitions/ business trends
• Day to day management of the finance team and taking responsibility for the financial control Required Education, Skills and Qualifications for the Financial Controller: The successful candidate for this Financial Controller role will be ACMA / ACCA / ACA qualified, technically strong and have proven experience of bringing tangible cost savings to a business. Ideally the individual will have prior exposure to working within an good sized SME environment. Strong reporting skills, the ability to analyse large quantities of data and implement efficiencies across the business are essential as the candidate will be tasked with making an array of finance / business projects, from day one. The ability to improve controls and drive key initiatives is also essential for this position. Overtime this position can lead to progression to the Finance Director position, but equally it will suit a highly motivated and energetic Financial Controller who's happy to operate at this level
