Assistant Payroll Manager

Assistant Payroll Manager
Salary:
£30,000 to £35'500 per annum
Location:
Sheffield Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5pm My client, a large commercial vehicle dealerships group are looking for an experienced Assistant Payroll Manager to join their team in Sheffield. Assistant Payroll Manager Duties: - Supporting the Head of Group Payroll and department to provide a quality service to the business - Providing expert advice and guidance in relation to Payroll legislation and compliance - Pension administration and governance - System Administration for the team and employees - Continuous improvement for processes and procedures for the department - Engaging with various departments to develop and implement business changes - Internal and external audit compliance - Resolving escalations to the highest standards of customer service Assistant Payroll Manager Requirements: - Ideally a minimum of 5 years previous payroll experience - An in-depth understanding of Payroll legislation & compliance - A good understanding of Payroll costings & creation of monthly journals - Strong IT skills with an excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel - Knowledge of I-Trent and/or a CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
