Our client is in the forefront of design technology and export their products worldwide. We are seeking to recruit an accomplished Finance Controller to manage the finance team, ensuring that financial results are reported in a timely and accurate manner, all financial controls are implemented/met. Reporting to: Site General Manager/Managing Director Key Responsibilities/Activities:
• To ensure all departmental KPIs are achieved
• To provide financial support to internal departments
• To produce monthly accounts
• To prepare annual budget
• To maintain books of accounts
• Responsible for external year-end audit ensuring all legal requirements are met
• Set up and manage financial controls, cash forecasts and cash management with bank facilities
• Manage the finance department cost centre in line with budget
• Undertake all people management responsibilities relating to reportees
• Establish and lead the continuous improvement culture of better, cheaper, faster, smaller
• Other duties as may be required Competencies/Skills:

• Good written and oral communication

• Planning and organising
• Time management Experience/Background:
• CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified (preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing as a senior finance manager
• Proven people management experience
