Research Associate - Infrastructure, Energy & Real Assets The firm: Established in 2006, My client is a financial recruitment business with a deep specialisation in Infrastructure, Energy and Real Assets. With offices in London and New York, They are the trusted partner to some of the world's biggest banks, funds and advisors, as well as some top calibre niche outfits. The UK business (covering Europe) operates out of offices in Central London at the Nova South building, minutes from Victoria Station. The role: The role of a Researcher is to work closely with client facing consultants, in identifying, approaching, interviewing and selecting candidates. You will split your time between working on research projects and the execution of both exclusive and retained mandates. Research projects:
• Support consultants with ongoing market mapping and quarterly/annual intelligence reports, on subjects such as compensation, diversity and market trends
• Create pitchbook documents for potential assignments
• Long list and shortlist potential candidates for relevant mandates
• Assist with the ongoing development of our "Young Women in Finance" program Search execution:
• Attend client meetings to understand the brief, as well as the candidate attraction strategy
• Generate candidates through a range of methods such as, our data rich CRM, LinkedIn, candidate referrals, referencing as well as attending events and industry conferences
• Headhunt relevant candidates, conducting both telephone screenings and face to face meetings

In terms of specific requirements for this position, you will need to have the following skills/experience:
• A degree from a reputable university
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the desire to build relationships with new people
• A keen eye for details, with a sense of pride in your work
• Excel in a deadline focused environment with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time under tight deadline
• Operate in a commercial manner, proactively looking for revenue generating opportunities across the business
• Have an interest in the infrastructure, renewables and real assets industry
• European languages such as French, Spanish or German are preferred, though not essential The benefits:
