We are excited to be partnering with this innovative manufacturing business in Peterborough who are enjoying immense success and have so many more exciting ventures in the pipeline The role we are recruiting for is a commercial Operations Management Accountant, the purpose of which is to act a key business partner to the management team in regards to monitoring performance and controlling stock. Due to growth plans this is an extremely crucial role, and a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to truly be a central part of a business. Given the importance the company places on this position, you will report directly to the CFO. Tasks will include: Relay operational performance to business heads, Prepare budgets and forecasts, manage compliance of stock control and valuation, Be the key stakeholder for BOM, Draw on your technical and effective communication skills to advise and influence others to improve financial performance. There will be more ad-hoc tasks as part of other projects the business is planning to undertake. We welcome conversations with those who hold a professional accountancy qualification, with solid knowledge and/or experience in manufacturing such as factory yields, labour costs, margins, segmental reporting, etc. This could be either as an Accountant in-house, or you could be looking to make your first move from Practice.
