I have been instructed by an established and highly thought of employer in the Northampton area to find a technically strong, qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Finance Manager. Ideally this person will be ACA qualified and come from a 'Big 4' background, however a top 10 practice will be considered. The key responsibilities for this role involve stock accounting and so experience of a manufacturing environment would be helpful. Duties include: ?Reviewing processes and reporting produced by the stock finance team with the objective of proposing and implementing process and control improvements Manage the year end and subsequent audit process for stock Provide effective control and ownership of the stock balance sheet control accounts and resolve queries arising from review. Developing commercially focused obsolete stock reporting including actionable insights for supply chain teams to reduce the level of 'dead stock' in the business This person will also need to have an excellent Excel skillset.
