Interim VAT Manager - 6 months - £300-£500 per day Robert Walters are hiring for an Interim VAT Manager for a property business based in the East Midlands. The role is expected to last circa 6 months and will come with a daily rate of circa £300-£500 per day. The VAT Manager will cover the workload during a permanent recruitment process - This will focus on VAT and indirect tax compliance including preparation, review and submission of VAT returns and VAT reporting - However this person will also get involved in VAT advisory and indirect tax project work. The client is looking for someone with strong UK VAT/Indirect Tax experience, ideally gained within industry. Experience in VAT/Indirect tax in the property / real estate / construction sectors is beneficial, including experience in VAT partial exemption. Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or tax advisor ( ACCA / ACA / ICAS / CTA), though the client can consider someone qualified by experience. Applicants must be immediately available or available at short notice and able to commit to a 6 month assignment.
