Then read on My client, an education organisation based in Surrey are looking for a Finance Manager to join their already established finance team. The role holds a lot of responsibility to liaise with budget holders, so will allow the successful candidate to grow as a credible Finance Manager. The post will also look after a team of three (finance officers) but will cover a wide range or responsibilities. Main Responsibilities Communicate regularly to senior budget holders across the organisation, providing budgetary support and detail analysis of the data. Team up with the Finance Director in maximizing the revenue generated by the organisation, working to find new and profitable income streams. Manage the credit control team of two, upskilling them to the best of your ability. Taking complete ownership of year end reporting, achieving consistently high standards and being the key liaison for external auditors. Holding the number two finance post within the organisation, this position offers still, a fantastic training and development scheme which shows the organisations desire to give back and develop their employee's. With a large-scale development plan over the next 18 months going ahead also, this means this post will have a huge input in how that escalates and develops. The successful candidate will be: Qualified (Desirable), Part Qualified/QBE (Essential). Experienced in managing a team of 2 staff. Experienced working within the education sector.
