Are you organised, numerate and detail conscious and enjoy working as part of team? SHL is seeking a proactive individual with customer service experience or maybe with some prior credit control experience, to join a busy, friendly team, based in Thames Ditton, Surrey. In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic and successful Global Credit Control team. You will be the main point of contact to the US and Italy ledger of accounts, to manage these business units, maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt.You will be responsible for managing queries and chasing payments from our clients on behalf of our Global offices in a timely manner, whilst delivering a tier 1 service to internal and external stakeholders. The Role:
• You will be responsible for building customer relationships and contacting our customers by phone, email or letter to ensure collection of debts.You will process credit card payments and across all tasks ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to.
• You will work closely with the Order to Cash ("O2C") team on client issues, streamline query resolution in a timely manner and investigate and resolve queries.You will produce aged debt analysis and weekly and monthly reports and will be responsible for proactively maintaining a clean and up to date ledger.
• As part of the role you will upload invoices via ARIBA, Coupa, Taulia, bespoke client portal platform and will submit Electronic Invoicing (E-invoicing) via the SDI platform.
• In this challenging role you will work towards achieving multiple targets to ensure optimum global collections.You'll be in constant contact with the sales team and sales managers, other departments in managed service and customer success teams and will coordinate the activities between these departments What are we looking for? You will be a fluent Italian and English speaker and have excellent communication and client relationship building skills, ideally from a customer service environment.You will have the ability to ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved, and targets are consistently met.You will be numerate and detail conscious, enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and should be computer literate in Excel and Outlook. Any experience in a credit control environment would be beneficial but not essential as would experience with SUN and Salesforce systems.Training will be provided.
