Group Reporting Manager A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Group Reporting Manager to join a fantastic organisation based in the heart of Walsall. The Group turnover is circa £260m with 2,700 employees. This role sits in the Group Finance function, reporting into the Group Financial Controller and Group CFO. The Group Reporting Manager will be providing leadership to the Group Reporting and Group Treasury teams. The Group Reporting Managers key duties will include: Management responsibility of the Group Reporting team and the Group Treasury team consisting, in total, of 5 people. Responsibility for the preparation of the first draft of the financials in the Group annual reports and consolidated accounts, including glossies. Responsibility for subsidiary statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors. Review and preparation of monthly financial reports to the Group Executive Team and the Group Board including analysis of Group performance including profit and loss, cash flow, debt and capital expenditure. Review and preparation of monthly, half yearly and year-end consolidation and provide technical guidance and challenge where necessary. Development and preparation of cost centre analysis reporting to provide and review with to senior executive team. Continuous review and challenge of Group accounting policies and GAAP to ensure practices remain appropriate and of a high quality. Process improvements including implementing new statutory accounts software, cost centre reporting and treasury controls. Supporting the Group Financial Controller and Group CFO with debt finance management including refinancing of Group borrowing facilities. Overseeing the Group's day-to-day banking and treasury function including transactional services.The successful Group Reporting Manager will have the following attributes: Will be a practice trained accountant (ACA) who has already worked in a reporting type role within industry. Previous Group experience in a similar sized business Experience of managing and motivating a team Treasury experience will be a distinct advantage (not essential) Statutory accounts experience Report writing experience Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong IT skillsWhat is on offer for the successful Group Reporting Manager?
