Our client is a machinery company based west of Cambridge (£8m turnover). They have approx 24 employees and are looking for a full time Company Accountant to take over from the incumbent who is retiring at the end of the year. They would ideally like a candidate who can start in October / November 2019 to ensure a good handover period. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Day to day accounting functions of the business Treasury management Monthly payroll Monthly management accounts Company insurance matters Company Secretary matters and other legal matters Overseeing daily office functions The candidate will have had experience in a small office environment working closely alongside their colleagues. They will be either qualified or qualified by experience in an accountancy background with a broad understanding of business.
