Finance Manager - £55,000 - £60,000 per Annum Benefits - Permanent - Slough Our client, a leading manufacturing company are seeking a Finance Manager with strong Financial Accounting experience to oversee the full range of finance related activity. Key areas in the role will include accurate financial reporting, annual accounts, tax & VAT payments and payroll payments. Finance Manager Key
Responsibilities:
Create monthly, quarterly and annual finance reports for the company directors. Ensuring all VAT and PAYE returns are accurately completed in line with guidelines and timing. Review and amend processes to drive efficiencies, productivity and accuracy whilst ensuring the processes are matching the business requirements. Balance sheet reconciliation. Ensuring bank credits reconcile and feeds through to the cash flow forecasts. Reconciling accounts to trial balance. Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments. Prepare and post journal vouchers. Maintain and update the payroll to ensure accurate and timely payments to staff. Manage the company's credit control to ensure money owed is collected within agreed KPI's. Managing the relationship with the company's banks to ensure efficient cash flow and resolution of any issues. Finance Manager Key Skills: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial role ideally within an SME. Commercial Awareness Strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience of Opera Accounting Systems would be advantageous.
