We are assisting our client in finding an experienced Project Accountant to join their growing team in the Ipswich based office. The main focus of this role is to provide first class support to the Finance Department assisting and managing various projects, along with daily accounting and finance duties. Responsibilities & Duties:
• Month end and year end tasks in preparation of the Statutory Accounts.
• Working with the wider finance team calculate, prepare and submit regular returns.
• Responsible for technical calculations for various business functions, in particular costing.
• Ensure all financial commitments are accurately undertaken and within agreed time frames.
• Support Senior members of the Finance team with preparation in tendering for new business.
• Take on ad hoc responsibilities as and when required such as assisting payroll and various accounting projects. You will be near to completing your AAT studies or AAT qualified. Have excellent time management and a proactive nature, happy to help in all duties and responsibilities. You will also have proven experience in assisting with or managing projects.
