Responsibilities:
GSK is looking for an Integrated Resource Management Reporting Analyst The main function IRM Reporting Analysts is to design, build, refresh and distribute reports to leverage improved integrated drug development resource forecasting via high quality reporting and analytics in a modern reporting environment that supports the needs of drug development teams, all R&D functional lines and that of the overall organization. You must be able to integrate and visualize data from various sources converting into meaningful reports, visualizations and insights to support decision making and measure performance. With a very broad stakeholder accountability, you must work to establish new reports and single-source of a common global reporting environment, by providing value and insights into asset development and improving the overall processes supported by data.Key

responsibilities:

• Support R&D operations from a business perspective to meet the evolving needs of the R&D organization in close partnership with R&D Tech to design, build, refresh and distribute routine monthly reports for teams, functional lines, governance and senior leaders for project level information.
• As a member of the reporting and analytics team; promote the use of data, analytical expertise, and business acumen to diagnose planning and resource issues, data issues, generate insights and recommendations to demonstrably influence business decisions and outcomes
• Design and shape the desired objectives of project analytics by influencing senior stakeholders, teams, functional lines and other customers.
• Leverage modern data visualization technologies and create dynamic business dashboards to effectively communicate and bring key insights to life for customers
• Areas of focus will include: project management, resource (both headcount & finance) demand, allocation and capacity (portfolio and non-portfolio resource management); cycle time analysis, attrition analysis, etc.
• Support a culture of fact-based decision-making in SPO, PPRM, IRM and Functional Lines by building capabilities and experience with analytical tool usage at all levels of the organization. Leverage the Business Operations network to help embed reporting from common global resourcing views.
• Leverage the dynamic reporting environment to meet the unique needs of various customer groups using the same platform across thereby assuring continuity of data and analysis
• Anticipate, design and develop effective business analyses, insights and recommendations in a timely and high-quality dynamic manner
• Develop and deploy business data models to drive efficiency, accuracy, consistency and automation across business analytics

• Bachelor's Degree (Resource Management, Portfolio management, Project Management, Business operations, Reporting & Analytics, Finance, Computer Science)
• Drug development, Project management & resource forecasting & planning expertise, analytical, organized, detail oriented
• Demonstrated track record of working across organizational boundaries spanning the planning organizations and tech
• Demonstrated expertise in range of role essential skills (e.g., utilizing a modern dynamic reporting environment, data analysis & visualization, problem resolution, enterprise project management tools)
• Ability to explain complex information, simplify into visuals and coach customers on usage. Preferred qualifications:
• Master's Degree with PMP certification, MBA and/or Extensive experience in R&D operational analytics (Resource Management, Portfolio management, Project Management, Business operations, Reporting & Analytics, Finance, Computer Science)
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal communications and negotiation skills for senior audiences and customers
• Enterprise thinker with natural curiosity and the ability to explore new ideas and interrogate data
• Comfortable with ambiguity, the ability to generate and develop solutions independently
• Headcount resource and financial forecasting experience a plus
