Senior FP&A Analyst - Fashion - Manchester City Centre - £55,000 - £60,000 Our client is a huge Manchester based fashion brand who are showing no signs of slowing in their success anytime soon They're looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their dynamic team Our client is looking for a commercially savvy Senior FP&A Analyst to join their expanding FP&A team. This candidate will become a fundamental part of the businesses as this opportunity comes with the aim to progress to a managerial level within 12 months due to internal restructuring. This team is integral to the maintenance of the profitability of the business through budgeting and forecasting, commercial analysis and scenario modelling. As this team is responsible for supporting all areas of the business, you will need to be able to manage multiple priorities and switch between different projects and work regularly. To repay you for all your hard work, our client offers loads of work perks, social events and a competitive package which includes a bonus scheme, healthcare benefits and generous pension Roles and Responsibilities of FP&A Analyst: Work with the various teams across the business to have full understanding of each team and make commercial decisions on areas such as trading, buying and merchandising, pricing & promotions, etc. Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analyse causes of variance. Analyse present and past trends in KPI's including areas of revenue, cost of sales and expenses. Scenario modelling for new initiatives. Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives. Report findings back to senior stakeholders with recommendations (financial and non-financial). Producing weekly and monthly financial reports. Be actively involved in the Budgeting & Forecasting process when required. Develop and produce analytical reporting packs for key events. Key Skills and Attributes of FP&A Analyst: A background in a FP&A and/or a commercial finance function. Financial modelling experience. Hungry for progression and ready to take on a challenge. Strong Excel skills. Track record of working in a fast-paced environment (Small - medium business preferred). CIMA qualified (or equivalent). History of improving commercial performance. Confident personality and ability to communicate effectively.
