Security & Compliance Auditor - (In the North of England) Company Background: Waves Car Wash Limited/Waves Consultancy Limited supplies hand car wash and valeting services to supermarkets, property owners, retailers and car park operators across the UK. Waves is a privately-owned company with more than 280 franchised sites operating in the UK. Waves' very experienced management team has developed a brand, service and specialist equipment that provides a highly professional level of service. Summary An exciting opportunity has opened up for an addition to our Compliance and Security Team based in the North of England to analyse our operations in that region. We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual who possesses the highest levels of integrity and resilience. The ideal candidate will have experience within the security industry and have an understanding of processes used to monitor and ensure compliance, ideally auditing, however extensive training will be provided. You will be able to illustrate that you can work efficiently and effectively on your own with the ability to adapt where required to support in investigations as and when needed by the Compliance and Security Manager. The role will involve the completion of bespoke in house audits using an iPad whilst in the field to ensure compliance by our franchises. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to plan their defined monthly work load allowing flexibility to manage their own hours independently. The successful candidate will have access to a company car, be expected to travel to attend those sites within their designated region and be willing on occasions to stay overnight away from home. Responsibilities:
Whilst supported by a professional management team, the successful applicant will be working alone for long periods with autonomy to plan and deliver a prescribed number of audit assignments on a monthly basis in accordance with the Biannual Audit Plan. Make suitable recommendations to address risks or control weaknesses identified. Highlight and assess alternatives that might yield further improved efficiency or additional cost savings. Ensure that audits are completed to the required standard in line with appropriate and relevant methodologies and requirements. Ensure that audits are delivered on time. Support the Compliance and Security Manager in meeting demands of the business. Holding a full driving licence and is prepared to travel throughout the North of England Willingness to undergo training in our auditing system and our business processes Essential Experience: Experience of prioritising, managing and delivering own workload, working with minimal supervision. Ability to work with flexibility to meet competing deadlines. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of management, both orally and in writing. Proficiency in the use of Word and Excel packages Possession of excellent inter-personal skills and an ability to ensure professional standards are maintained at all times. Able to develop close working relationships and communicate effectively with a culturally diverse franchise network. Maintain the highest levels of integrity and resilience with strict independence from all non-audit operational staff. Desired Experience: Experience in working in a field-based role Demonstrated knowledge of audit procedures - however full training will be given. Familiar with franchise networks - however full training will be given. Knowledge of the car wash industry - however full training will be given. Understanding of Modern Slavery issues Knowledge of an Eastern European language Package:

Salary:
Circa £30,000.00 dependent upon experience Hours: Flexible working hours as long as monthly audit target is delivered
