An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established business who specialise in the import and distribution based in Westcott. As a Bookkeeper/Administrator, you will be a critical member of the team. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will play a fundamental part in the day-to-day running of this small but established business. In return you will be offered a generous salary of £25,000 per annum. There is free parking on site and fully air-conditioned offices. Key responsibilities will include: Responsible for purchase orders and invoice processing; Monitoring European supplier payments and statements; Setting up supplier accounts; Producing payment schedule lists; Reconciliation purchase ledger balances to supplier statements; Sales order processing; Credit control and monthly statements; Monthly sales figures, bank reconciliations; Monthly management accounts; Monthly BACs run; Financial forecasting; VAT Returns; Payroll; Month end and Year end accounts; Other duties to include profit and loss reports and accruals; Holiday recording; Assisting with customer service; Stationary ordering and monitoring; Insurance renewals for company vehicles and business; Stock control; and Ad hoc duties as required. Requirements for this role: It is essential that you have strong demonstratable bookkeeping/accounts background; Ideally part qualified; Highly organised with attention to detail; A team player, willing to muck in where necessary; Own transport due to rural location; IT literate with a good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Excel; and Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
