Product Pricing Manager Based: Enterprise House, Ashford, Kent Brakes sells over 10,000 products to caterers around the UK. This role manages the selling prices of each product, seeking to improve company margins through monthly price moves, all informed by detailed analysis of price elasticity and food commodity market changes. Working within the Brakes Pricing Team, this is a high profile / fast paced role that would suit someone with strong commercial acumen and analytical ability. This role might be ideal for a Finance professional (full or part qualified) looking to expand their commercial experience and expertise. Although analytical at its core, this role also involves liaison and problem solving with key stakeholders across our Sales, Marketing, Category, Procurement and Finance functions. You'll be joining a great team. Expect to work hard, learn loads and be right in the middle of some of the most important decisions the company makes each month. Role Purpose Statement To improve company margin by managing the price and internal cost levels of all Broadline products through formal price moves and tactical price fixes. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
• Liaise with Procurement and Sales divisions in reaching appropriate product price decisions based on analysis presented in monthly commercial divisional meetings.
• Create high level presentations to be presented to the board at monthly Commercial Trading Board meetings.
• Evaluate a 'market cost' level for each product to demonstrate where we are buying better than our competitors based on analysis and insight.
• Manage and maintain the various levels of price and the price structure of c10K products.
• As requested provide analysis of performance, price elasticity and competitor price moves.
• Track the success of each company wide price move each month.
• Work closely with the Commercial Finance team to inform budget setting and forecasting. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Essential:
