Are you organised, numerate and detail conscious and enjoy working as part of a team? SHL is seeking a proactive individual with customer service experience or maybe some prior credit control experience, to join a busy, friendly team, based in Thames Ditton, Surrey. In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic and successful Global Credit Control team. You will be the main point of contact in regard to the France, Belgium and Canada ledger of accounts as well as assisting to maximize cash flow and minimizing bad debt. You will be responsible for managing queries and chasing payments from our clients on behalf of our Global offices in a timely manner, whilst delivering a tier 1 service to internal and external stakeholders. The Role: You will be responsible for building customer relationships and contacting our customers by phone, email or letter to ensure the investigation and resolution of queries and collection of debts and will process credit card payments (ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to). You will produce debt analysis and weekly and monthly reports and proactively maintain and maintain the ledger. You will be challenged by collections targets that are linked to your bonus and will work closely with the Order to Cash ("O2C") team on client issues and streamlining query resolution based on client's debt status. You will be in constant contact with the sales team and sales managers, other departments within the managed service and customer success team plus other international sites to being able to coordinate the activities between these departments What are we looking for? You will be a fluent French and English language speaker and have excellent communication and client relationship skills, ideally from a customer service environment. You will have the ability to ensure that a high level of customer service is achieved and targets are met consistently. You will be numerate and detail conscious, enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and should be computer literate in Excel and Outlook. Any experience in a credit control environment would be beneficial but not essential as would experience with SUN and Salesforce systems.
