Fyte (Find Your Talent Easily) are working with an independent firm in Fife who are looking for a Corporate Tax Specialist to join their expanding Corporate Tax department. This position will see you become the technical lead of a team where you will make sure that all compliance and technical advice is reviewed and give input into the review systems that operate over the compliance function. Tasks in this role will include, but are not limited to: Ensuring compliance with internal procedures including the completion of client take-on process and liaising with the Tax Operations Manager Ensuring that year-end tax planning is carried out for clients Having all deadlines met in conjunction with the Tax Operations Manager Tax Advisory responsibilities, such as providing support to clients on research and development tax relief, capital allowances and capital gains planning As a Corporate Tax Specialist, you will also assist the Head of Tax Strategy with delivering complex tax projects to clients, such as Business Sales Acquisitions, Incorporation of sole trade and partnership businesses and management buyouts. This will give you exposure to complex advisory work that the firm carry out. You will have the opportunity to work with clients where there is already a trusted relationship, having involvement in client meetings and answering client questions. This position will allow you to proactively provide intelligent solutions to client tax problems and demonstrate your excellent knowledge of taxes (corporation tax, capital gains tax, income tax and employer tax).
