The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting for an Finance Analyst to join a well known media business on a 9 month FTC. Your role will help to support the business and in managing its marketing, overhead, and manufacturing costs. Key tasks : Promotion and Marketing
• Prepare promotion budgets and forecasts
• Liaise regularly with cost controllers in order to ensure spend information is transparent Overheads
• Support budgeting and forecasting process for overheads and manufacturing
• Booking of month end overhead journals
• Preparation of department overhead cost reports
• Responding to overhead queries Production Costs and Stock
• Liaising with the production team to manage manufacturing costs in line with estimates
• Analysis of cost of sales, wastage, and stock balances Fixed Assets
• Manage costs to be capitalised/expensed Month end / Year end
• Manage and post accruals, prepayments and provision journals
• Process manufacturing costs
• Assist in the review of overheads, cost of sales and promotional spend
• Preparation of management account schedules for overheads, balance sheet, stock and cash flow
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations General/Ad Hoc
• Assist with the interim and year end audit
• Providing invoicing support to the business including coding queries and providing training on the invoicing system
• Respond to queries regarding expense reimbursement
• Ad hoc cover of other tasks within the team during vacation etc
• International support
• Involvement in ad hoc projects Qualifications :
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA or international equivalent)
