Our well established client based around the Heathrow area is looking to recruit a Pricing Analyst with experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics - Please do not apply if you have non industry experience. This role is a 6 month contract with a view to going permanent. Outline of the Role: Pricing analysts work with complex data sets to help businesses determine and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals. This is a highly analytical role that requires pricing analysts to consider data from multiple sources and develop complex pricing models that reflect margins for promotional and seasonal pricing based on competitor, market, and customer data. The Pricing analysts must be flexible to work in a variety of fields and in any setting. The Pricing Analysts will collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategies that drive sales and ensure that their companies remain competitive. 1. Essential Job Functions

• Develop Pricing Tools
• Present Findings to Key Decision-Makers Requirements: Pricing analysts work with sales teams to set and adjust prices based on statistical models and customer psychology. Most pricing analysts have at least a bachelor's degree and the following skills. The primary duty of a pricing analyst is assessing data from a variety of sources and using it to derive insights into pricing strategies and market trends. The pricing analyst uses a number of quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze competitor pricing, assess market share and margins, and track customer engagement in order to gain a complete picture of effective pricing strategies for their company's offerings.
