Do you have your eye on the future? Are you keen to make the most of opportunities that come your way? If so... come and join this high-performing team; challenge yourself and develop your internal audit skills and experience... About the Role Reporting to the GIA Operations Director, and acting as secretary to the GIA leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the operation of the global function. Your role will be to enable effective and efficient audit delivery and reporting across the entire Bupa organization. This will include planning the delivery of our portfolio of work (c150 separate audits each year) and supervising GIAs wider deliverables such as audit platform maintenance and development. You'll run our regular formal risk assessment and planning process and maintain the audit universe accordingly. You'll also be responsible for producing function-wide MI and delivery dashboards and for reporting to the Group Audit Committee. You'll play an instrumental role driving our Quality Assurance Improvement Plan, and you'll ensure full alignment with global IIA standards. This is a leadership role in which you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of 6, and be required to build relationships and influence at senior level. About you The ideal candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of what it takes to develop and run a high-performing internal audit function. You should have direct experience of either being an internal auditor or of leading the operation of a GIA for a large complex organization within a highly regulated industry - gained either through the Big 4 or in-house. You'll have well developed business partnering skills and be able to build strong influential relationships with senior level stakeholders. You'll have a good understanding of GIA standards, practices, platforms and processes and how these can be optimised to support delivery. Practical experience of quantitative and qualitative analysis and turning this into impactful visuals would be a distinct advantage. Bupa, GIA has a strong track record of progressing high performing members into leadership roles within the GIA team, and into roles in both the first and second line teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career by deepening their overall assurance skills set and gaining a greater appreciation for the purpose and impact of a GIA on the wider organisation. About Bupa Bupa celebrates you. Whether that's through rewards or encouraging you to bring your true self to work. This becomes more than where you're from. This is you.
