Responsibilities UK (report: Head of Corporate Accounting) Overall responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of statutory financial and management information and non-financial information presented to X management, external bodies (where reasonably requested) and relevant regulatory authorities (HMRC, FCA, National Storage Mechanism, Companies House). Development of UK reporting US Oversight of US accounting and reporting (currently through an internal US based operations directors and US professional accountancy firm) Development of US reporting Overall responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of statutory financial and management information and non-financial information presented to management, external bodies (where requested) and relevant regulatory authorities (IRS). Development of Group reporting Overall responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of statutory financial and management information and non-financial information presented to Fund directors, management, external bodies and advisors (where reasonably requested) and relevant regulatory authorities (HMRC, FCA, National Storage Mechanism, Companies House). Development of third party fund/company reporting Oversight of investment allocations in accordance with pre-established co-investment agreements Third party fundraisings and control over level of non-commission related expenses within pre-agreed budgets FCA regulatory oversight for LLP and associated companies FCA regulatory oversight for third party funds and companies under advisory contracts Oversight of fundraising process Non-FCA compliance and regulatory oversight for all and fund related activities Group (report: Head of Corporate Accounting) Overall responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of statutory financial and management information and non-financial information presented to internal managers, intermediaries and investors via the VCTs' website, the websites, offer prospectuses and documents, published brochures and ad hoc requests Quality, accuracy and timeliness of applications and related allotments for offers Information technology (currently via outsourced provider) Facilities management Systems development Third party funds (eg VCTs) and companies under advisory contracts (report: Funds Financial Controller) Compliance and regulatory (report: Head of Regulatory & Compliance (TBC)) Monitoring of regulatory and general business issues through regulatory bodies (LSE, HMRC, FCA), industry bodies (BVCA, AIC, VCTA) and general best practice ensuring that the Firm and its funds are at the forefront of best practice Investor relations information (report: Financial Analyst (TBC)) Operating environment oversight Developing/assisting strategy of the Group Applicants should be qualified accountants with experience of running finance functions for a venture capital or private equity fund and have excellent communication skills.
