About You You are comfortable working with data and using your commercial acumen to help drive the strategic direction of our business. Naturally inquisitive, you see patterns and trends then enjoy applying this information in a variety of ways. As well as being confident in communicating the results at all levels within the business. About The Role This is a key role, that helps us drive profitability across the entire business. You will be responsible for the analysis of commercial data to provide insight, understand and improve product performance and profitability. Working closely with the Commercial team, you will assist in the creation of forecasts, identify commercial opportunities and provide financial analysis and interpretation of key customer accounts. You will also support the Head of Operations to plan the optimal stock layout, aligned to demand and capacity within the Distribution Centre. Your day to day responsibilities will include: Analysis of commercial sales and product data to provide insight to help maximise opportunities and profitability Provision of seasonal profitability analysis at our meetings Support the Product and Sales teams in preparing detailed sales and gross margin forecasts Develop and maintain dashboard reporting; interpret and communicate key trends Support with Board reporting as required Provide analytical data to aid optimal Distribution Centre performance and layout Support the Head of Operations with strategic operational planning as required KPI review and optimisation (both financial and non-financial) Campaign reviews and analysis Channel attribution analysis Campaign and new business proposal modelling and forecasting About Us We are proud to be a loyal and trusted brand that makes the best kids shoes (and have been doing so for years); from pre-walkers through to high school, we understand how kids move so we don't just fit the foot, we fit the child. We are a team of 70 people based in a recently refurbished open plan office where you will come into contact with everyone across the business. You will be working very closely with the Commercial (eComm & Sales), Product (Technical & Quality) and the Distribution Centre teams. The Commercial team is a close-knit team where you will be reporting into Katherine, the Commercial Director. Our Office & Location Our offices and distribution centre are based on the outskirts of Norwich, with excellent transport links and facilities. We have plenty of parking on-site and are close to other major businesses in the area. We regularly socialise and come together as a team, whether it be a get together at the end of the week. Or most recently a BBQ to celebrate the back to school period (Our Christmas).
