Dakota Hotels are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to be based in our offices located at Millshaw, Leeds, LS11 8EG. CONTRACT AND REWARD The role carries a permanent contract for 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (hours can be amended based on the applicant). The gross annual salary is between £24,000-£28,000 based on experience, paid on a monthly basis. Perks include:

We attract hard-working individuals who are passionate about working to the highest standards. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Job responsibilities include:
• Supervising the day to day finance operation of two of our hotels
• Implementing and monitoring internal audit procedures to ensure all financial statements are accurate and a true reflection of business performance and expenditure
• Managing the hotels' cashflow requirements, reconciling the bank account and processing monthly and adhoc payment runs
• Contributing to the month end process, including completing the accrual, prepayment, fixed asset and receipt reconciliations
• Supervising the accounts administrator, who will be responsible for processing the purchase ledger. Ensure statements are reconciled accurately and timely and costs are coded correctly
• Sending out daily, weekly and monthly management reports as required
• Providing holiday cover for weekly and monthly payroll runs as required
• Assisting in driving revenue and profit across the business by working with the Area Finance Manager and Heads of Departments CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS The successful applicant will have/be:
• At least 2 years working experience in an accounting position, or recently graduated with a finance degree of 2:1 or higher (or similar)
• An organised individual who is self-directed and works well with deadlines
• An individual who possesses a high level of financial acumen and attention to detail
• Experienced in using accounting systems and have a comprehensive knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suites
• Be flexible in working shift patterns if required around the operation
