We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst for our client based in Strathclyde Business Park Bellshill, for an interim period cover a project for 12months. Reporting into the Head of Finance the role will assist with delivering the month end process, using data to identify key financial trends and insight into variances, supporting the development of annual budgets and forecasts and therefore ensuring the finance team has quality data at its disposal with which to help shape business strategies and decisions. Responsible for preparation of month end process including, preparation and review of journals, preparation of management accounts together with variance analysis against budget and forecast Preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations with all balances fully investigated and reconciled Profit & Loss trend analysis and variance analysis to budget and forecast Preparation of various analysis for budget holders Execution of deferred income process and reconciliation Ownership of WIP balances and associated accruals Identification of new opportunities to improve processes and provide better quality management information Support the wider Finance and Senior Management teams in developing tools and methods to provide new management reporting and KPIs To be considered for this contract role you will have extensive experience in a similar role and be comfortable working with large volumes of data, excellent Excel skills are essential as you will be required to work on pivot tables and V Look up's.
