Looking to purchase your next career move? We require a full-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established company in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will be processing supplier's invoices and assisting the accounts department with their filing requirements to then aid locating of invoices when required. Duties; Entering incoming purchase invoices onto the AS400 system daily using quoted purchase order number and querying/sorting where no P/O issued. Pair up to purchase order and distribute based on order type checking parts invoices for price/receipting discrepancies and querying if applicable. On return of invoices authorised pass non-standard invoices for coding and book back all others on AS400 Sorting and filing authorised purchase invoices Reconcile supplier statements to the Purchase Ledger ensuring each supplier who submits statements has one reconciled once a quarter. Assist the Assistant Management Accountant with any other purchase ledger duties (including holiday cover) & Payment runs. Assist in archiving when required Assist other departments with any filing requirements as and when required Other duties and special projects as required by the Management Accountant Requirements; Previous Accounts Payable experience Able to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills Quick learner Good Excel skills Able to work independently Can use own initiative Team player £18,000 - £19,000 per annum TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT ROLE - 40 Hour Week
