A well-backed, unique and very fast-growth FinTech in Central London are seeking a qualified Financial Controller / Finance Director (Depending on Experience) with 3 years post qualification experience to join their specialist industry credit finance business in Central London. The main focus of this role will be to develop and lead the companies full finance and accounting controls and reporting functions as the company enters its next stage of significant growth. Duties Financial Controller / Finance Director Finance reporting and management accounts, including relevant metrics and variation analysis; Ownership of all reporting packages and financial processes: monthly, quarterly, annually P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and notes to the financial statements Cashflow reconciliation The implementation of financial controls Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of tax submissions and regulatory reporting (e.g. FCA) Budgeting & forecasting Desirable - Financial Controller / Finance Director Previous FinTech or credit experience in a fast-growing environment would be highly advantageous. 3 years' commercial experience post-qualification Preferably member of a professional accounting body Experience in a fintech start-up Experience in credit, understanding of loan book management Experience developing and implementing financial control processes Experience with data analysis, Excel as a must, sql is a plus.
