15ten15 are currently recruiting on behalf of fast moving and unique financial services business for a Data Reporting Analyst Main responsibilities Within this role the key purpose will be to enhance the quality, accuracy, timeliness and effectiveness of MI across the business to transform this data into information that can be utilised to make informed business decisions and actions. Some of your key responsibilities and duties will include: Deliver daily, weekly and month-end reporting/analysis and management information Define and create additional reporting using a wealth of, as yet, untapped data to better understand the business, its opportunities and risks Act as a business partner to all stakeholders and senior management, helping to deliver profitable commercial outcomes Support develop pricing strategies across different sales channels and territories Perform financial modelling to support commercial decision-making, including trend analysis and pricing analysis for example Assist with financial planning, budget and forecasting processes, including but not limited to company operating plans, budgets, forecasts and variance Working closely with the finance team and operational finance teams to ensure consistency and integrity of information prepared and disseminated Monitor company business performance against plan challenging reasons for under-performance and assess adequacy of remedial action where appropriate Ideal candidate Our client is looking for an individual with significant experience of working with data, and its manipulation to add value, whilst also having the following skills and attributes: Ability to write in-depth and complex reports Excellent numerical and analytical skills Very strong reporting/data manipulation skills and advanced Excel skills Strong project experience with specific focus on reporting capabilities and deliverables Attention to detail, adherence to existing procedures and the desire to strive to improve processes .Problem solving skills and the ability to be pro-active Self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision Demonstrates effective communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels About the company Our client is offering a package promoting a competitive salary.
