Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and reputable firm of chartered accountants in Ashby de la Zouch who are looking to add an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an already successful and growing team where you will assist with the completion of audit assignments, as well as having responsibility for the preparation of accounts and the associated tax work for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or may have already begun their ACA / ACCA studies and will have experience of undertaking a mixed Audit and Accounts role. The successful individual will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary as well as study support to complete the ACA / ACCA qualification. Responsibilities:
Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy Take an active role in assisting with all aspects of audit fieldwork under the supervision of a senior member of staff Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives Skills: Part Qualified ACA / ACCA or AAT Qualified Experience of assisting on audit assignments is essential Experience of working in practice is essential For further information on this role please contact Curtis Reid at Clark Wood If this specific vacancy is not quite what you are looking for please contact us to investigate alternatives; you can send your CV to this job or contact us directly.
