The permanent division of Macildowie are working alongside an innovative, global, fast growing organisation to recruit for an Accounts Assistant based in Milton Keynes. The Accounts Assistant will receive up to £25,000 per annum plus a full study package, health care, pension and generous holiday. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for : - Raising and creating sales invoices - Ensuring all sales invoices are correctly coded and allocated to the relevant cost centre - Coding and matching of purchase invoices - Preparation of payment runs - Completion of bank reconciliation process - Allocation of payments to customer accounts - Management of aged debt process, monitoring credit performance and status - Ad hoc involvement with the monthly management accounts when required (journals, prepayments and accruals) - Assisting with the year end audit process - VAT reconciliations The successful candidate will: - Ideally be working towards a financial qualification - AAT, ACCA or CIMA - Be a progressive individual who is looking to develop their career - Have the ability to work under pressure - Have experience of working with sales ledger/accounts receivable processes previously - Be a strong Excel user - Competent user of V Lookups and Pivot Tables - Be able to demonstrate a good level of articulation and gravitas - Be happy working in Central Milton Keynes The Business The organisation are a rapidly growing, international brand who operate within a specialist market.
