If so then we want to hear from you We are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to cover maternity leave. This role will start in September and so candidates with a notice period may be considered. It will be a long term contract, running until at least September next year. We are looking for individuals who would be looking to start a career with a fast growing, international company, as there will be plenty of opportunities to secure a permanent role when the assignment comes to an end. Responsibilities:
Directly managing up to 6 Purchase Ledger Clerks Training and continuous coaching of any new team members Coaching existing team members to support you in training new team members Line management responsibilities including regular one-to-one reviews, appraisals, probationary reviews and continuous training of all Purchase Ledger Clerks Maintenance of regular planners to ensure timely task completion from your team Continuous monitoring of your team to ensure all target timescales are achieved Ensuring all tasks set to your team is completed to a high standard Identifying and rectifying any errors, and making sure team members are trained to avoid reoccurrence Increasing your own Purchase Ledger function skills to ensure you are always an expert Maintaining the invoice spreadsheets to support the Purchase Ledger Manager Dealing with rejected invoices and ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely manner Any other tasks as required Person Specification: AAT qualified, similar, or qualified by experience Excellent Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables Experience of Open Accounts desired, but not essential Finance background Previous experience in line management High attention to detail and accuracy Confident in dealing with a high volume of workload Excellent communication skills Ability to meet strict deadlines Team player with a strong work ethic Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
