Your role The successful candidate will become a key member of the team nationally, with an active role in client-facing delivery. The nature of work that you will get involved with will likely include: Supporting ERA workstreams on a day to day basis with manager/assistant director oversight including: Assisting with the strategy for dealing with employees Working to tight deadlines quickly adding value on complex, high profile and sensitive projects Assisting with the delivery of agreed employee strategy taking ownership of certain workstreams Assisting with communication to employees both verbal and written including consultation and making redundancies Managing the collection of the data required for the Office Holder's records and its ongoing completeness during the lifecycle of the engagement using the Insolvency case management software IPS Maintaining the statutory and task diary system on IPS and where appropriate completion of those tasks Assisting and where appropriate managing key employee centric stakeholders such as the Insolvency Service, Redundancy Payments Service and Trade Unions; Assisting with payroll matters from making the payments to the employees to liaising with HMRC Implementing the agreed Employment Tribunal strategy Assisting with the agreement of the preferential and unsecured claims of the employees Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Location:
Location will not be a deciding factor. The role may involve travel and will require the flexibility to meet peaks of work inherent in the cycle of a deal. We specify full mobility for our financial advisory roles but we make arrangements respectfully. Working from home days are available and flexible depending on clients, deadlines, and projects. Work pattern: This is a permanent full-time opportunity. Your professional experience It would be helpful to have the following: Experience in HR or ERA (whilst an advantage not a necessity) Ability to develop strong internal relationships within RS Able to work independently as well as part of a team A basic understanding and experience of insolvency processes and practice is not a prerequisite but helpful Experience in basic accounting (whilst an advantage not a necessity) Ability to work in a challenging environment and have difficult conversations Good IT skills with a working knowledge of word and excel Have a methodical and logical mindset to problem solving, an effective approach to time management and the ability to work to challenging deadlines Ambition to learn and develop further Motivated and committed Ability to conduct business in fluent oral and written English is a pre-requisite Your service line: Financial Advisory Advising clients in the moments that define their business takes multiple layers of expertise.
