Description

My client is looking to fill a 9mth FTC working as a Systems Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Working as lead on a finance switch over to Maconomy system
• Data cleansing
• Helping to write procedures / manuals for finance team
• Running month end on tandem systems and ensuring new Maconomy system is updated with all month end information and accounting data
• Run training work shops on Maconomy
• Troubleshooting for finance team

Profile

The successful candidate must be a proven Systems Accountant and be able to commute to The City of London location. You should also have worked, or have a keen interest in the media industry.

You must have gone through a systems implantation before and acted as a lead for this process. You must be very capable communicator and be used to dealing with troubleshooting on maconomy or another company wide system.

You ideally will come from a big company background and be very flexible in your approach to work on a daily basis. Every day will be different in this role...some days you will be dealing with huge amounts of accounting data on Excel, other days you will running reports about missing finance / supplier info, making suggestions about troubleshooting, handling huge data sets, training top become a super user yourself, running training sessions for accounting staff from AP Assistants to the FC!
