Payroll Officer
A large Shared Service Centre based in Blackburn require an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their payroll team on a temporary to permanent basis although this is not a guarantee. Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payroll as volume using bespoke payroll systems. As a Payroll Officer, you will work independently resolving any complex payroll queries and escalating issues to line management where necessary. Experience Required: - Previous experience processing payroll from start to finish at volume - Up to date knowledge of Payroll Legislation - Strong manual calculations experience - Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team - Previous experience dealing with NHS Payroll is beneficial, but not essential - Use of ESR payroll system is highly beneficial - Excellent accuracy and attention to detail - Immediately available or on short notice If this position sounds of interest, please forward your CV for immediate consideration.
