Paul Charles Recruitment are delighted to be assisting one of their long-term clients with their search for a Financial Reporting Accountant to be based in their Norwich offices. Our client is one of East Anglia's best known professioanl services firms. In essence, this role will provide effective management accounting by delivering accurate, timely financial and regulatory reports for Group. The Key responsibilities are:
• to manage the production of accurate financial information for Group, including IFRS consolidated financial statements at half year and year end, financial reporting packs for Group Board meetings and quarterly returns.
• to provide an analysis of financial results for the Group, including cashflow and sensitivity analysis.
• to produce budgets and financial plans.
• to assist with various company secretarial functions including Board minutes and filing of documents at Companies House.
• to liaise with the Audit Committee and external auditors.
• to provide a review of controls environment and assisting with the implementation of changes as required.
• to undertake other general administration duties (Accounts based) as assigned. The ideal candidate will be experienced - preferably in industry or they would consider practice; be qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent or be well on the way to achieving this. We have worked with this firm for in excess of 15 years and know them well - it is a super place to work, in beautiful offices and on offer will be an exceptional basic salary to £50,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience) and a full benefits package to include DIS, BUPA Cashplan, Penson etc. They will also promote further qualifications and assist financially with these.
