Our client is a an award winning business and they now have a rare opportunity for a qualified accountant to join their senior management team, leading the finance function. Your role will be all-encompassing and duties will include; Ensuring that monthly management accounts are produced in a timely manner Working at a strategic level you will be ensuring that reporting, business targets and planning is delivered successfully Taking responsibility for producing annual budget, five year financial plan and strategy for the business from a financial perspective Producing board papers, presenting them to Directors and attending Board meetings Business partnering with internal personnel on pricing models, providing advice and guidance where necessary Cost, margin and pricing analysis, implementing models where appropriate Working closely with auditors and year end Managing a team and fostering the learning and development Producing ad hoc financial information as required This role will be key to the continued growth and development of the business and the successful candidate will not only be a post-qualified accountant, but will also have outstanding interpersonal skills and technical ability. The role requires energy and dynamism and someone who has a hunger to add value to the business that they work for. Strong influencing skills are essential as is the ability to communicate with people at all levels in a clear and concise manner. Leadership qualities are key to the success of this role, but the right person will also be happy to roll up their sleeves when necessary and muck in to get the job done.
