Financial Controller (SME Manufacturing) £50,000 -£55,000 plus benefits Coventry This Financial Controller position will be the number 1 finance person on-site with reporting lines to the Site GM and CFO and will involve oversight of finance, providing analysis and business partnering across this business. Client Details An established and well respected group, my client is a SME manufacturing business, priding themselves on their ability to provide high quality products and service across multiple disciplines within the UK. Relationship Management Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the site GM and all functions Liaise with other site finance leads to ensure best practice is shared and adopted Stock Control, Audit and Processes Within the Manufacturing environment, stock control is of critical importance and this role will be expected to be a super user in this arena understanding not only the true product flow on the manufacturing floor but also how this is reflected in our systems Be a key player in the daily stock meetings and the owner of weekly stock reconciliations and any variance analysis Reconciliation and auditing of financial control information, providing accurate information to internal site departments, business units and group management Be a key driver of system improvements on site to enable increased Financial control Proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement throughout Work with the senior management team to deliver the agreed annual budget and weekly forecasts and when necessary provide analysis of variances from budget and forecast Essential Experience: Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with post qualification experience Engineering or Manufacturing finance experience as a minimum Progressive track record of successfully operating at director/controller level within a fast-paced environment Strong IT and systems knowledge with a skill set to effectively implement financial software projects Strong communication skills with the capability to communicate confidently internally & externally Able to work within an agreed established framework and cope with pressure, taking responsibility for decisions and owning the account plans Strong attention to detail and ability to report accurately with a desire to dig into variances and understand and fix root cause High levels of professionalism, integrity and ethical awareness Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks Excellent analytical and numeric skills together with the ability to identify and interpret market trends Job Offer: £50,000 - £55,000 plus Benefits
