£35,000 - £45,000 per annum Job type: Permanent, Full time The Company, an owner managed group based in the Bridgend area, with offices in the USA and Thailand, are currently looking for a Financial Controller to head up the finance team. If you enjoy a challenge and taking ownership of the financial processes, then this role is for you. The Role Working with the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for the running of all day-to-day accounts, production of management accounts and analysis for the business strategies to be set. Management of a small efficient finance team Preparation of monthly management accounts and accompanying reports, in line with Group reporting timescales Ownership of all accounting and finance activities Financial strategy, financial analysis, and cost efficiency reporting Treasury and cash management Attending senior management meetings and presenting financial data Managing banking relationships. Production of annual budgets and forecasts VAT, TAX and payroll filings. Monitoring changes in financial legislation and uphold accounting standards Responsible for liaising with the overseas accountants Any other ad-hoc duties when required by the business The Candidate: ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent Knowledge of Sage Previous direct line management experience Strong communication skills Experience of consolidations Commercial mind-set Please click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.
