Company - Free Trade Beers & Minerals LTD Location - Romford, RM5 2BG Job Type - Full Time Permanent (Mon - Sat 8am-6pm) About the Job: Free Trade Beers is a Family run drinks wholesaler based in Romford Essex. This family run business has been running for the last 30 years and has a real hunger for growth. The business is looking for a new addition to join the accounts team help collate/create/analyse financial data in order to feed to the financial controller. This is a great opportunity for a proactive individual, looking to develop their career with a role that offers real ownership, whilst remaining in a collaborative environment. The company is looking for a proactive individual who prides them on attention to detail and accuracy. Job Role
• Management of payable and receivable ledgers including:
• Creating supplier purchase orders
• Uploading and matching supplier invoices to internal POs
• Matching supplier statements to internal system
• Posting bank transactions in to the company accounting system
• Posting journal entries, including accruals & prepayments
• Preparing month end reconciliations
• Assisting with the day to day management of the sales and supplier nominal ledger functions.
• Helping with a credit control function and chasing overdue customer payments.
• Reporting to the accountant working as a part of a team supporting all areas of the accounts and finance function.
• Bank Reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
• Management accounts
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Answering the phone taking customer orders and dealing with queries. Skills
• AAT qualified or degree in finance, accountancy or business administration (desirable)
• Ability to adapt to industry specific accounts package
• Sound Numerical skills and attention to detail
• Fluent English
• Outstanding communication skills
• Excellent Experience in Microsoft excel
• Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills
• Methodical Experience
• 3 years' experience working in an accounts department
