Residents Finance Assistant Potters Bar £21-£23k DRM are looking for a Residents Finance Assistant to join our clients team in Potters Bar. It is imperative that you have worked within a Care industry in Administration, in a Finance environment before. Working 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday , you will be supporting the managing and maintaining of Clients money accounts. Applying for appointeeship (where appropriate) for new service users Applying for DWP benefits for new and current service users Checking that all benefits have been received for new and current service users Processing of personal allowance money to service users via weekly CASH cheques. Processing of client contribution fees to local authorities Processing of payment to third party i.e. holiday companies, utility companies. Dealing with payments to Residents from external organisations and family Creating of CMS Account & closing of CMS accounts for Residents Relinquishing of appointeeship in the event of service user moving to a new care provider Receipt allocation on a daily basis and reconciliation of Residents bank accounts Setting up encashment facilities for the Service Manager and other staff Completing of financial assessment form to Locality authorities Dealing with internal and external queries Ensuring that all CMS activity complies with audit regulations. Collate the mileage data from the services, analyse the data and produce mileage invoices Completing the client contribution fees to transfer fund from CMS to the business account. Housing benefit queries (overpayment, suspension, change of billing cycle and underpayment of Housing benefit queries) In addition, as part of fast growing and rapidly changing business, upon proving your ability, teamwork and dedication the successful candidate may gain exposure to future development projects.
