Pure are recruiting a Finance Analyst for a Plc organisation based in Central Essex. The role is to support the senior finance team for a growing and highly profitable division of the Group that will allow you to play a key role in the future success of the division and Group. The role -Provide accurate monthly management packs with relevant analysis and commentary including Joint Ventures -Manage the month end process including posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts and ledger close -Annual statutory accounts and reporting with supporting analysis -Management reporting to Group -Ensure a strong financial control environment -Preparation and submission of VAT and CIS returns - Ad-hoc project work The candidate -Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA (ideally ACA and practice trained) -Strong technical acumen with a good understanding of IFRS -Effective communicator with both finance and non finance professionals -Strong report writing skills and high level of competency on Excel will be essential - Proactive attitude with the ability to challenge and be challenged
